Govt of AP has introduced a new method for the people who DO NOT have Aadhaar Card. People can get enrolled for Aadhaar with a Phone Call as Dealers insist that those without Aadhaar numbers cannot get cylinder at the subsidised rate of Rs 412, and must pay the full price of Rs 1,030 till they get the cards. Consumers must book Gas cylinders only by dialling 9666023456. The Interactive Voice Response System asks the consumer to provide an Aadhaar number. The call is automatically disconnected if the consumer cannot provide the Aadhaar number.
